The owl is in the zone… determined, focused on the hunt.
That owl is you. Set goals and achieve them with laser focus.
I had a goal to write more this year, and I have (just not much here). But also I just came here and see I haven’t written since July.
I wrote that July post in Germany, that was 5 countries (and 1 life changing music festival) ago!
The point of Joe’s Ideas is a place for me to share ideas, journal adventures, practice writing, and create a place I can look back on later and smile with nostalgia.
Haha! I meeeeeeean that would be fun to write full time buuuuuuuuuut …. FOCUS, grasshopper.
Back to the focus – I haven’t written because I’ve been laser focused on achieving my primary biz goals. Tree Tribe is having a great year of growth, and I have some big ideas to mash the pedal to the floor and accelerate / capitalize on that growth.
I’ve also been working on scaling a side project that can help fund Tree Tribe’s growth.
I have a tendency to work on too many projects at the same time (3 businesses right now). This has always been my way, but it’s also starting to feel like kind of a drag. And here I am, coming back to my recurring theme of trying to narrow my focus and cut loose on some other projects/gigs.
I’m in the hustle, in the zone, and each project enhances my knowledge and wisdom, so I can’t complain. Creatively I’d like to work on more projects (like turning my dreams into stories), but the current mantra must persist… Focus.
So here I am, writing a note to self: Yo, it’s ok to let some projects slide for awhile… prioritize and level up first to achieve the freedom you’ve been grinding for the past 3 years.
FOCUS
